Looking forward to getting rid of all my bad habits of 2007 and gaining a couple good habits on 2008. I hope that everyone is having a very happy new year and are with the people they love.

What an exciting time we live today, with some many things possible for mankind. The one thing that I was happy about hearing in 2007 was the ability the clone stem cells for human skin ,and this to me means cures for so many diseases coming real soon for so many people around the World, now that the ethical debate on cloning human embryos has been put to rest.

I wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Things have been a bit busy around the house lately, with family visiting and heading out to the stores shopping, so I have not had much time to blog, but wanted to wish every one one of my readers, both old and new, a very Merry Christmas today! And, just in case I do not make it back in time to blog before the new year, a happy one of them, too .

Just got back from this year’s Christmas party and it was the best party I have been to this year. I met a lot of new friends and ran into a lot of old ones. One of the things on everyone’s tongue was the internet, and we discussed topics ranging from the mobile web to virtual reality and even got into nano technology for a bit .

I was surprised to hear how many people there had blogs or websites, and what they were about. Everyone seemed to have the newest and latest gadgets from the iphone to the Play Station 3, which the host of the party was excited to have and after watching her play some games on her huge plasma television screen, I could see why.

One of my friends showed us her webcam in her house, hooked up to the internet so she could peak in on her kids while she was at the party on her mobile, which was way cool. Another parent there had a cellphone that called her cellphone if the her kid’s cellphone got out of range of her house by 100 feet.

A lot of great ideas swirled around the conversations of this great group of people tonight, and I had a wonderful time listening and talking with everyone, makes me wish there were more parties every week instead of just every year.

Wow, this year just flew by me and already it is 10 days till Christmas and I have not even been to the mall to shop for presents for anyone. So for the next week, I am going to shop till I drop. I will be hitting the usual places this time of year, and have been tinkering with the idea of making a few gifts myself this year to give as presents to some of the people in my life I find dear. Not sure I can get all the parts and assemble them in time, but may give it a try. Just wondering but what are you giving this Christmas to those special in your life and why?

Have had a lot of fun skiing the past couple of days since it snowed a lot around here. Getting ready for the Holidays to come, so have been taking it easy for awhile today and resting up.

Enjoying my favorite books and watching my favorite television series, along with eating like a starved pig. Wanted to get a post in this week to let everyone know how I was doing and what I am up to. So on that note, what are you doing and why?
