No Leftovers
The problem with going to someone else’s house for Thanksgiving dinner is that you don’t get much – if any – of the leftovers. We took home an extra plate of all the goodies, but there is no big ziploc bag of turkey meat, no leftover stuffing and no gravy. I miss the leftovers – that made the whole weekend a part of the holiday instead of just the one day.
I’m seriously thinking about going to the grocery store and getting a turkey breast and cooking it myself tomorrow so I can have some turkey and some of the fixings again. Thanksgiving food is my favorite food of all time.
