Pineapple
Pineapple is one of my most favorite fruits. I love fresh pineapple but it is more cost effective for me to buy mine canned.
One of my favorite childhood memories of pineapple is when I very young – maybe 4 years old – and my mother stirred a can of pineapple tidbits into the jello that she was making. When the jello set, the tidbits were suspended in the jello! It looked like magic to me, and every bite was special.
Now I make it for my kids. Well, not really. I make it for me and let the kids share some!
